Myelodysplastic disorder is a problem affecting the leukocyte in your bone marrow. The body creates too many premature cells, called blasts. Some hematopoietic stem cells in individuals with PNH are faulty and also subsequently generate faulty blood cells. These malfunctioning red blood cells of PNH are exceptionally vulnerable to premature devastation by a certain component of an individual's own body immune system called the complement system. |
