The heartbreaking film is a devastating reminder of the stigma that those living with HIV or AIDs and the LGBTQ+ community faced not too long ago. Hanks and Denzel Washington (who plays Hanks' lawyer) are outstanding in a film which still serves as a rallying call to fight for justice and fairness in the face of prejudice and discrimination. The blockbuster broke a whole load of records upon its release, including becoming the first movie to gross $1 billion at the Box Office, garnering the most Oscar nominations ever and winning the most Academy Awards in another tie with Ben Hur. Also just how can you not cry at the floating door moment between Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet . Director David Fincher ticked every thriller-lover’s box when it came to making this heartrate-increasing film.

Whatever media is used for the Video part of the film is, to me and probably to thousands of other deaf people, largely irrelevant. The other part, the audio sound track is not available
